Please note that SCVS teachers are in-person 20-30% of the time each month within Seminole County schools. SCVS is seeking to hire a Florida-certified World Language Teacher for Spanish K-12. Must hold a current, valid certification in Florida. Prior virtual experience a plus.

SCPS Contracted Teachers

Currently, you are NOT required to obtain a release from the administrator of your present work center.

Seminole County Public Schools uses the statewide screening database, Care Provider Clearinghouse to determine the eligibility of prospective employees. The Care Provider Clearinghouse is administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for background screening results for persons screened for employment or licensure that provide services to children, the elderly and disabled individuals. The Clearinghouse allows the results of criminal history checks to be shared among participating agencies, reducing duplication and costs;

including more up-to-date information and online tracking of the screening process.
