Job Description
SCPS is seeking a dynamic Elementary Science Curriculum Program Specialist to assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of elementary science instructional programs. The specialist will analyze data to enhance the elementary science instructional framework and assessments, provide targeted professional learning, collaborate with teachers and Professional Learning Communities, and support schools with innovative science instructional strategies and curriculum materials. The specialist will serve as the co‑director of the science fair, collaborating with stakeholders to oversee this key educational event.
The ideal candidate holds appropriate certification and a strong background in science instruction, collaboration, and the Florida State Academic Standards for Science.
