Assistant, Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program (VPK)
We are currently hiring for a VPK teaching assistant at our Wicklow Elem. VPK Classroom.
ResponsibilitiesProvide instructional assistance and support to VPK classroom teachers, assist in creating and implementing learning activities, and help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment for young children.
Qualifications- Forty-five (45) hours of DCF Childcare Training or completion within 90 days of employment.
- Early Literacy 5 Hour training requirement within one year of employment.
- H.S. diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year working with young children preferred.
Full-time position within Seminole County Public Schools. The District participates in the statewide screening database, Care Provider Clearinghouse, facilitating background screening and reducing duplication of costs.
