Roadway Engineer

Overview

CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. We are seeking a Roadway Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative Transportation team in Sanford or Tampa, FL.

Department: Civil/Municipal

Location: Sanford, FL

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for roadway projects.
• Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct analyses and tests to validate designs and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, and status updates.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and clients.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of experience providing engineering support for transportation projects
• Experience with Civil 3D and/or Open Roads Designer
• Engineer in training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license

• Dependent upon experience.
