Duties and Responsibilities
The primary focus of this position is to document and fulfill public record requests that are made to the Florida Highway Patrol. The requests are required to be acknowledged and processed in a timely fashion. Requires skill in analyzing and interpreting data and policy procedures in to arrive at logical conclusion or recommendations. Incumbents communicate with other records technicians, FHP troop administrative support personnel responsible for delivery of public records, and managers as required, to coordinate efforts of others within the organizational unit and/or coordinate activities between units.

The job requires planning and scheduling activities to accomplish individual and unit goals and objectives.
