BCBA Intern
Client material creation and preparation
Directly Implement Individualized Treatment Plans under the direction of BCBA
Incorporate sensory activities into the session (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games)
Record client data into Central Reach program
Convert appointments into billing
Write detailed SOAP notes
Attend weekly team meetings with BCBA
Attend weekly performance goal meetings with CEO
Attend Quarterly in-service trainings and team bonding activities
General Cleaning/Sanitizing duties

Depending on assignments, you will be scheduled to work in the office Monday through Friday 7:45am and 5pm.
You will be assigned an in-home client up to 3 times per week Monday through Thursday 4:30pm-6:30pm depending on Client You may also sign up to work special events on weekends (such as Autism Events or Workshops).
All initial introductory training—including orientation, shadow sessions, and required certifications completed during your first 5 days—will be compensated at the current state minimum wage. Once this initial training phase is successfully completed and you begin your regular job duties, your compensation will transition to your full agreed-upon hourly rate.

Intern attire is business casual. Polo shirts will be provided and are to be worn with SOS approved scrub bottoms. Information about the uniform will be provided to you during your first week of training. See employee handbook for examples of unacceptable clothing and closed-toe shoes. No jewelry.
COMPENSATION:Sign-on Bonus:

Wages:W2 Hourly / Non-Exempt Regular pay: $21/hour
Overtime pay is 1.5x regular pay when you work more than 40 hours/week, which will be paid every other Friday via direct deposit.
You are required to obtain your RBT certification from the BACB within 6 months of hire. SOS will provide you with the training videos and pay for you to take the exam.
Because this is a structured educational internship program, the intern hourly rate is set at a flat rate and is not eligible for wage increases. However, SOS will conduct a Performance Assessment every 6 months to evaluate your clinical growth, overall progress, and eligibility for future promotion upon graduation.

10 days per year of unpaid holidays (listed in employee handbook) (does not count toward overtime calculations)
Paid Time Off:Interns do not qualify for PTO
Reimbursement:Pre-approved, documented out-of-pocket expenses
Family Leave:None offered at this time.
Non-Paid Time Off:Planned non-paid time off is not limited, but approval is subject to Manager’s discretion.
Unplanned/unapproved, unexcused call-ins are limited to a maximum of 3 per year (dependent upon the employee’s accumulation of disciplinary points, which is outlined in the Employee Handbook).
