Summary

The Integrations Analyst oversees the integration of external vendor systems with internal platforms, participating in technical analysis, data mapping, solution design, and implementation. Coordinates system provisioning, user permissions, and security controls, while guiding development and maintaining thorough documentation. Ensures ongoing stability by monitoring performance, resolving issues, supporting maintenance and upgrades, and facilitating knowledge transfer for continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed technical analysis and document data mapping of third-party integrations to ensure interoperability between vendor systems and internal platforms.
  • Coordinate environment provisioning and account setup for integrations in collaboration with infrastructure and operations teams.
  • Manage access control and account management for vendor systems, maintaining proper user permissions and security protocols.
  • Participate in Stage 0-2 activities, collaborating with Architecture and Business Analysis to shape solution design and plan integration approach.
  • Guide the development and configuration of vendor integration solutions, working closely with developers to implement and configure interfaces that meet requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive integration documentation (requirements, design, configuration, and reference artifacts) and facilitate knowledge transfer across teams to ensure support continuity.
  • Monitor integration performance (e.g., connectivity stability, error logs, data throughput) and ensure integrations meet service level agreements, proactively addressing any issues.
  • Manage production support for integrations by triaging and troubleshooting issues, resolving them or escalating to vendors as necessary for timely resolution.
  • Support scheduled maintenance and system upgrades by coordinating regression testing and change management, ensuring integrations remain stable after updates.
  • Collaborate with the integrations lead for analysis, coordination, and execution activities as needed.
  • Continuously explore opportunities to enhance integration performance or implement new integration capabilities that add value to the organization.
Required Skills
  • Expert at creating technical documentation and specifications (integration requirements, mapping documents, architecture diagrams) for development teams
  • Support and analyze integrations involving Guidewire Policy Center and digital insurance portals
    , ensuring accurate data mapping, API-based data exchange, and stable connectivity between vendor systems and internal platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze integration issues across multiple systems.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for evaluating integration requirements and outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be effective at working in cross-functional teams and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including third-party vendors.
  • Thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies for managing integration projects.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, self-starter attitude in solving problems.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of system integration principles, including data mapping, data transformation, and API-based communication (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience with integration tools or middleware (e.g., ETL platforms) and familiarity with data interchange formats like JSON and XML.
  • Familiarity with relevant integration technologies and standards (e.g., API protocols, web services, transmission data formats).
  • Proficient in using collaboration and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and standard office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to document and manage work.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in systems integration, IT business analysis, or software development (including experience with vendor/third-party system integrations).
  • Professional certifications related to system integration or cloud technology (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Architect, or ITIL Foundation) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite strongly preferred.
