Material Handler

We are looking for a Material Handler for our Sanford, Florida facility.

Handle the day-to-day function of physical receipt of materials, proper identification comparing to receiving documents, assignment and movement to physical storage location. Handle the physical pulling from inventory, kitting of materials and delivery of materials to the designated production work site ensuring accuracy and control of materials.

• Physically handle materials and compare to invoice documentation; identify materials and assign the appropriate part number and location for storage; ensure that damaged materials are identified and processed for return to vendor(s); prepare reports of violations when necessary, collecting sufficient backup evidence to support agency attorneys in prosecution.
• Physically handle both loading and unloading of materials; pull materials to place into kit format and deliver to the designated production work site.
• Handle monthly cycle counts of inventory, identifying shortages and issues; work with inventory/receiving personnel on correcting and reporting issues.
• Assist mechanical department in obtaining proper parts, while maintaining proper records of parts sent and received for repair.
• All other assigned tasks.

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).
• Must possess a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
• Forklift certification.
• Must have a minimum of one-year experience in a Warehouse or Material Handler role.
• Minimum of one year experience working with Microsoft Office suite in an office environment.
