Wire Assembly Operator

Responsible for assembling and wiring electrical equipment according to wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work with hand tools, and a commitment to producing high‑quality electrical assemblies in a manufacturing environment.

Pay & Schedule
  • $17.50 Hourly
  • 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • 1–3 years of wiring, electrical assembly, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
  • Assemble and wire electrical components according to point‑to‑point wiring diagrams.
  • Mount electrical components using appropriate hardware.
  • Route, bundle, and secure wires and cables neatly and accurately.
  • Use hand tools to crimp, cut, strip, and terminate wires.
  • Follow layout dimensions and specifications to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workarea.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for wiring and assembly work.
  • Ability to climb ladders or step stools as needed.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and move materials as required.
