Follow production schedule as determined by production supervisor or line leader. Work as team member in production line jobs using basic equipment. Operate automatic stripping, crimping, IDC tools. Must be able to read mechanical drawings. Inspect complete parts being produced per drawings. Operate hand crimping tools. Perform Pull tests on setups and first pieces. Operate test station. Level 2 soldering of electrical componants.
Build level 1 and 2 first article pieces. Perform basic setup on crimping presses. Setup test fixtures. Knowledge of standard IPC-620 Must be able to demonstrate basic working knowledge of and actively contribute to Lean Manufacturing processes.
EDUCATION:
Manufacturing exposure or background in electronics – understands Bills-of-Materials, Process sheets Electrical technician/troubleshooting skills.
ESSENTIALSKILLS:
Excellent work attendance record. Excellent interpersonal communication – a team player. Teaching skills – has the patience to teach someone how to do detailed tasks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Moving and examining objects at standard reach. Must be able to access and navigate the production facility. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
