Job Description

Lingo Staffing is now hiring CNC Machine Operators- 3rd Shift in the Sanford, FL area to start ASAP!

CNC Machine Operator – Responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision metal or plastic components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and production specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Pay & Scheduled:

  • $20.00 – $25.00 Hourly (Based on Experience)
  • 3rd shift: 11:00

    Pm – 8:00AM

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of CNC machine operating experience.
  • Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
  • Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
  • Load raw materials and tooling into CNC machines.
  • Perform machine adjustments and tool offsets as needed.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and production specifications.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major repairs.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Follow all safety policies, quality procedures, and manufacturing standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work throughout a full shift.
  • CNC setup or programming experience is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of G-Code or CNC programming.
  • Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar CNC controls.
  • Manufacturing or machine shop experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
