Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Sanford, FL
Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Our client, a growing medical device manufacturer, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join its production team. In this role, you'll assemble, wire, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate sophisticated medical imaging equipment used by healthcare providers worldwide.

Responsibilities- Assemble electro-mechanical systems using schematics, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Wire, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate completed assemblies.
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, soldering equipment, and other test instruments.
- Verify products meet quality and performance standards before release.
- Identify and document non-conforming materials and assist with corrective actions.
- Support prototype builds and transition products into production.
- Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
Required:
- Technical degree, certification, or equivalent hands‑on experience in electronics, electrical, or electro‑mechanical assembly.
- Experience assembling and troubleshooting electro‑mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
- Manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with FDA or ISO quality standards.
