Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic, hands-on and detail-oriented Permanent Assembly Technician to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing various mechanical and electrical components. This is a full-time position, offering a stimulating work environment, competitive salary, and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities- Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical components and systems.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems to ensure the product functions as expected.
- Read and interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, and process documents.
- Collaborate with engineering and other production staff to solve manufacturing and assembly problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase product quality and process efficiency.
- Assist in the training of new employees in assembly processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and machinery.
- Participate in the inspection process by carrying out detailed quality checks on completed products.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Assembly Technician or a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Electrical Controls.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and process documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, soldering irons, and other assembly equipment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
