Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our Stroke/Neuro and Med-Surg team. This role involves caring for adult patients with complex cardiac, neurological, and post-stroke needs. Responsibilities- Collect comprehensive patient data and perform clinical assessments.
- Advocate for patients within the interdisciplinary care team.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and issues.
- Develop individualized care plans with expected outcomes.
- Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations.
- Ensure efficient use of time, equipment, and supplies.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments.
- Maintain a safe environment and uphold patient safety standards.
- 1 year of recent Acute Care RN experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry.
- Florida RN license or compact multistate RN license with Florida license obtained within 60 days if relocating.
- RN Diploma or Associate Degree (BSN preferred).
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire.
- BCLS certification or BCLS Instructor within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS Provider certification within 6 months of hire.
- Experience in acute rehab settings (Kindred, Encompass, Health South, Select Specialty) with willingness to work in a Stroke Unit.
- Positive attitude, teamwork-focused, and eager to learn.
Hourly rates: $30.75-$34.87 (5 years experience), $39.04 (10 years), $44.68 (17+ years)
Sign-on bonus: $10,000 (Day), $15,000 (Night)
