Registered Nurse – Cardiac Neurology Telemetry Unit – Full‑time Nights (12‑hour shifts)

Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

• The Cardiac Neuro Registered Nurse is responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments.
• 12‑hour shifts.

Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Unit will have the following qualifications:

• Must have successfully completed an accredited RN program.
• Must have an RN license in the State of Florida, COMPACT nursing state, or have the ability to obtain one.
• BSN is preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in the Telemetry or Cardiac Units in an acute care hospital as an RN.
• Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must have NIHSS certification within the first 30 days of work (must work under NIHSS credentials until training certificate obtained).

• 12‑hour shifts
• Previous 2 yrs RN acute care experience required. Telemetry and Cardiac experience required

$29.00 (2 yr) – $32.70 (5 yr) – $36.81 (10 yr) – $42.13 (17 yr MAX)
