Join a collaborative nursing team delivering high-quality care in a 27-bed Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Unit. This department treats a mix of cardiac, neuro, post-CABG, stroke, and chest-pain patients, emphasizing patient safety, satisfaction, and evidence-based practice. Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for telemetry and neuro patients.
- Administer medications and monitor responses to therapy.
- Recognize cardiac rhythm changes and intervene appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge care.
- Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, and compassion.
Required:
- Active RN license (Florida or Compact state).
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med-Surg or Telemetry RN experience.
- ADN or Nursing Diploma.
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association).
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (within 30 days of hire).
Preferred:
- BSN degree.
- Prior experience in cardiac, neuro, or stepdown units.
