Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Step-Down Unit (Sanford, FL)

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is hiring for a Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Step-Down Unit.

• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, lab results, and overall condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide updates on patients’ conditions
• Educate patients and families about their care plan and any necessary lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
• Document all patient care and interactions accurately and thoroughly
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an intensive care or step‑down unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a fast‑paced and high‑stress environment
• Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts as needed
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as necessary
