Armed Security Officer Sanford Area

Excelsior Defense is seeking an Armed Security Officer to become part of our exceptional team. Excelsior Defense is looking for a part‑time officer to protect our client's premises, assets, and personnel. The selected individual's task is to patrol the area, maintain a high‑visibility presence, prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions, and manage access control to the property. They will conduct rounds and scan different points throughout the property in the housing contract.

The officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to ensure everything is safe.

This position is in the Sanford Area.

Part Time: 9pm to 5am Saturday and Sunday.

• Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Report and detain any suspicious incidents
• Report writing

• Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position
• Valid D and G security licenses (must be active)
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Must have your own weapon
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• Detailed report writing

Base Rate: 19.01 hourly.
