The Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position is a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement income, gain hands‑on experience, or transition to a full‑time career with an industry leader.

Pay Rate: $15.70 / Hour

Schedule: Sunday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You’ll be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, with a six‑month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and vehicles entering designated areas, reporting suspicious activity, prohibited items, or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, documenting observations and supporting security‑related response efforts as needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or shipping documentation when required, and deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and communicating security‑related concerns according to site procedures.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
