We have 3 positions open for a construction company in Orange City. We are seeking an Estimator, Scheduler, and Warranty Assistant. We are open to training for some skills at an entry level position. Pay is $16-19/hr.

Estimator / Quality Control

Description
We are seeking an experienced Estimator for a fast-paced trim and door shop. This position is responsible for preparing accurate bids and also plays a key role in quality control coordination between QA walkers, installers, and service technicians.
Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and takeoffs

• Estimate materials and labor for trim, door, and hardware packages

• Prepare and submit bids accurately and on time

• Clarify scope, exclusions, revisions, and change orders

• Communicate awarded job details to scheduling and production teams

• Be on the phone throughout the day with QA walkers reporting quality issues

• Document quality concerns and relay issues to installers and service technicians for correction

• Track recurring quality control issues and note important trends or problem areas

• Maintain clear records related to quality control and corrective actions
Qualifications

• Construction estimating experience preferred (trim/doors a plus)

• Ability to read blueprints and specifications

• Strong math, organization, and attention to detail

• Comfortable with frequent phone communication and coordination

• Proficient in Excel and estimating software

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Scheduler - Production & Installation
Job Type: Full-time

Description
We are looking for a Scheduler to coordinate production and installation schedules for trim and door projects.
Responsibilities

• Schedule shop production and installation crews

• Coordinate start dates with builders and project managers

• Track material availability and lead times

• Adjust schedules as needed due to delays or changes

• Communicate daily schedules to crews and supervisors

• Maintain accurate job schedules and updates
Qualifications

• Scheduling or dispatch experience preferred

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment

Warranty Assistant - Trim & Door Installations
Job Type: Full-time
Description
The Warranty Coordinator handles post-installation service requests and ensures warranty issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities

• Receive and document warranty requests

• Verify warranty coverage and responsibility

• Schedule service technicians

• Order replacement materials as needed

• Communicate updates with builders and homeowners

• Track and close warranty jobs
Qualifications

• Customer service experience (construction preferred)

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple requests

• Detail-oriented with good follow-through
