Aerotek is hiring now for entry-level Maintenance Technicians in Sanford, FL!
We are seeking an entry-level industrial mechanic to join our team. The role focuses on machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service for production equipment. Candidates who offer welding experience and are willing to learn the mechanical maintenance side are welcome to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Provide emergency repairs of production equipment during production.
- Perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
- Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service.
Essential
Skills:
- Experience in maintenance technician roles.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Skill in using hand and power tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and capability to understand basic troubleshooting.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Basic welding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Openness to training entry-level welders into mechanics.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Sanford, FL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
