ResponsibilitiesThe Coating Rehab Technician will work for and take direction from the Field Foreman/Superintendent which may include:
- Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging, or pulling material, etc.)
- Use of hand tools
- Equipment driving and operation, often in out-of-town locations.
- Entry into manhole and underground structures
- Pump watch and operation.
- Completion of required paperwork
- Good work ethic and ability to understand and follow directions.
- Must be able to understand and follow the Company’s operating procedures and safety policies.
- Must take and be able to understand instructions from the field superintendent.
- Must perform tasks in a safe and quality manner.
- Must accept responsibility delegated by the superintendent for company property and equipment; must maintain and operate that equipment in a clean, safe and mechanically sound condition.
- Must accurately and legibly complete all required paperwork which may include, but not be limited to: timesheets, maintenance records, travel logs, DOT paperwork, ISO documentation, etc.
- Must possess a positive attitude and be able to work with a field team.
- Positions will involve working outdoors in various weather conditions and may require physical labor.
- Employees must adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate protective gear and following established procedures.
- Risk factors may include exposure to hazardous materials, working at heights, and working in a confined space.
- Training will be provided to ensure employees are equipped to handle potential risks and emergencies.
- Must understand and speak fluent English.
- Must be able to understand and follow instructions in the performance of the required tasks in conformance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Must maintain required certifications.
- Safety certifications may include Confined Space, Competent Person, 10 and/or 30 OSHA, those related to traffic control, as required, etc.
- Job related certifications may include PACP, etc.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol screen and adhere to Company’s policy regarding such.
- Must work in a manner that will not jeopardize the health and safety of him/herself, other employees, or the general public.
- Must be able to lift more than 100 lbs and be standing up for long periods of time.
- Evaluate, recommend, develop, and implement improved construction or service systems, policies, methods, and procedures.
- Continually improve personal technical, personnel, and customer relations skills.
- All interactions with customers, owners, managers, etc., whether it is in person or a telephone call, will be conducted with respect and in a professional manner.
- Corporate Systems Manager will be notified of any issues that cannot be resolved, or deadlines that cannot be met within a reasonable time frame, and before the deadline has arrived.
- All proprietary company information will be held as strictly confidential outside the company.
- Perform all administrative requirements per process.
- General maintenance of company owned assigned tools or equipment.
- Comply with all processes and procedures outlined in the company Handbook and/or Safety Manual.
