Senior Fiber Laser Travel Technician

Boss Laser is seeking an experienced Senior Fiber Laser Travel Technician to join our growing service team. This role is responsible for traveling to customer locations to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial fiber laser cutting systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to represent Boss Laser professionally while working directly with customers in the field.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring successful machine installations, minimizing downtime, and delivering exceptional service to our customers across the country.

• Install, calibrate, and commission fiber laser systems at customer locations with precision and efficiency.
• Travel to customer locations to perform
  installation, setup, and commissioning
  of fiber laser cutting systems
• Perform
  diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair
  of fiber laser machines, electrical systems, motion systems, and related equipment
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment
• Provide professional and responsive customer service while representing Boss Laser in the field
• Conduct
  preventative maintenance visits
  and system performance evaluations

• 3-4+ years of experience
  working with fiber laser cutting systems or similar CNC industrial equipment
• Strong knowledge of
  electrical systems, servo motors, drives, sensors, and machine controls
• Experience with laser sources, cutting heads, chillers, compressors, and motion control systems
• Ability to readelectrical schematics and technical documentation
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with customers
• Ability to travel frequently and work independently in the field
