Hudson’s Furniture is a second generation family owned company. We’ve been serving Florida's residents with our mission of 'Turning Houses into Homes' since 1981. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Furniture Loader to join our team. As a Furniture Loader, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading furniture items, ensuring they are properly secured for transportation.

This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to handle heavy furniture items. This is a physically demanding position.

• Starting pay is $14.50
• M-F 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. (hours can vary depending on workload)

• Safely load and unload furniture items from delivery trucks.
• Inspect furniture for any damages or defects before loading and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure furniture items are properly secured and protected during transportation.
• Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of furniture to customers.
• Assist with assembling and disassembling furniture items when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Previous experience is a plus.
• Position can be physically demanding, requiring long hours, standing, walking, stooping and physical agility and dexterity, and is subject to weather extremes.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• May require the ability to use PC and RF-based computer systems to perform tasks.
• May require the use of manual or powered pallet jacks.
• May require the operation of powered lift trucks and/or floor sweepers.
• General maintenance abilities are a plus.
