RECEIVING WAREHOUSE & FORKLIFT ASSOCIATE
Location: Sanford, FL
Work Arrangement: On-Site
Pay: $17–$20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM ET
Position OverviewOur client is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Receiving Warehouse & Forklift Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Sanford, FL. This hands-on role will focus on receiving shipments, managing inventory, operating a forklift, fulfilling orders, and tracking orders and returns in Excel. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to working safely.
What You’ll Do- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Check shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation
- Report shortages, overages, damaged products, and discrepancies
- Label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
- Use Excel to track orders, returns, and inventory information
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Load outbound shipments and ensure products are secured and accurate
- Stock shelves and relocate inventory as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
- Report equipment maintenance needs, safety concerns, and inventory issues
- Assist with other warehouse and operational duties as assigned
- Valid forklift license — required
- Excel/spreadsheet experience — required
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, and forklift experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand packing slips, purchase orders, shipping labels, and inventory documentation
- Strong math, counting, inventory, and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, reliability, adaptability, and work ethic
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ lbs. regularly
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and work overtime as needed
- $17–$20/hour
- $100/month health insurance stipend with proof of coverage

- Consistent Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM schedule
- Join a small warehouse team with direct impact on daily operations
- Additional support through health insurance and gym membership reimbursement
- Hands-on role covering receiving, inventory, forklift operations, orders, and returns
- Warehouse is not air conditioned, but fans are provided
- Indoor/outdoor warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and moving equipment
- PPE may be required based on job duties
- Must follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and safe material handling procedures
