The Kids Connect Lead oversees daily operations of our “While You Work Out” child care program. This role creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children while supporting staff and ensuring a positive experience for every family.

• Provide a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for children
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities
• Support and guide Kids Connect staff
• Follow YMCA safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians
• Document incidents as needed

• Experience working with children
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass background checks and required trainings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Friendly, dependable, team-oriented attitude

• Part-time
• 2–4 hour shifts
• Split or alternating availability required
• Morning: 8:30–11:30 AM (Sun–Sat)
• Evening: 3:30–7:30 PM (Mon–Thurs)
• Free YMCA membership

• Ability to lift up to
  40 lbs as part of supervising and assisting children
• Completion of a YMCA
  employment application required as part of the hiring process
