Overview
Part-time Art Teacher, Penobscot Community School (PCS)
Responsibilities- Working with elementary-age students.
- Knowledge and experience with curriculum, instruction and assessment practices related to the visual arts.
- Knowledge and experience with effective classroom management strategies, including establishing routines and procedures.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Team-player who contributes to the school culture of appreciation and collegiality.
Penobscot Community School (PCS) is a Pre-K to Grade 8 school of approximately 69 students located in Penobscot, a coastal town between Castine and Blue Hill.
Qualifications- This position requires Maine DOE certification 620 Art Teacher, or a willingness to achieve it.
- Current Maine Department of Education CHRC (fingerprinting) or obtainable.
Salary will range from $16,701.20 to $25,341.20 depending on experience.
