Sanford's Bridge Program
Sanford's Bridge program is an off site program, within the school department, that supports students who require a more restrictive setting to make educational progress. The program services two populations of students; students with an IEP who require more a structured and restrictive setting with additional therapeutic supports as well as students who are expelled and require services to complete their re-entry plans.
We are searching for an individual who demonstrates flexibility, patience, and creativity. Additionally, we are looking for someone who has the ability to work within a multisystemic team and demonstrates effective communication skills. This position is for an elementary classroom within the Bridge program.
B. Ed. Tech II
1.
Qualifications:
- Document a minimum of sixty (60) credits of approved study in an educationally related field; or, for career and technical education authorization, document a minimum of two (2) years of paid applied employment within the field of assignment.
- Document participation in in-service training required in the specialty area of employment.
- Have the ability to relate to students, school personnel, and the public.
2. Permitted Responsibilities:
- Perform all of the duties of an Ed. Tech. I.
- Introduce new learning preplanned in collaboration with the classroom teacher or appropriate content specialist.
3. Job Goal:
To assist the teacher in achieving teaching objectives by working with individual students or small groups to help them achieve the skill levels of the class as a whole.

Assigned Teacher.
C. Ed. Tech III
1.
Qualifications:
- Document a minimum of ninety (90) credits of approved study in an educationally related field; or, for career and technical education authorization, document a minimum of three (3) years of paid applied employment within the field of assignment.
- Document participation in in-service training required in the specialty area of employment.
- Have the ability to relate to students, school personnel, and the public.
2. Permitted Responsibilities:
- Perform all of the duties of an Ed. Tech I and II.
- Supervise small groups of students in community-based programs.
3. Job Goal:
To provide a well-organized smoothly functioning class environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials.

Reports to:
Assigned Teacher.
Pay Range: $19.05-$31.90/hour
