Overview
The Sanford School Department has an opening for an LCSW to support students in the Special Education program at Carl J. Lamb Elementary School. The role of the Social Worker is to support students on IEPs in navigating their program and developing skills where deficits impact their ability to access their academic and social programming. Work on friendships, emotions, and school-based/age-appropriate issues is addressed in individual and small-group settings.
Services are provided across all settings as needed.
- Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed practices, PBIS, and restorative practices
- Strong data analysis, collaboration, and communication skills
Carl J. Lamb is a PreK-Grade 4 school located in the heart of Springvale, Maine. In addition to district curriculum and programs, our school has a service dog program that serves all students and adults.
Pay RangePay Range: $48,751.00-$93,464.00
