Our client is actively seeking a talented Process Engineer to join their growing manufacturing team in Sanford. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll drive process improvements, support production efficiency, and help implement emerging manufacturing technologies. From collaborative robotics and automation to additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping, you'll have the opportunity to turn innovative ideas into real-world production solutions that improve quality, safety, and performance.

- Develop work instructions, visual aids, and process documentation to support manufacturing and quality standards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean tools such as 5S, SMED, value stream mapping, and process optimization techniques
- Analyze workflows, conduct time studies, and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Support equipment installation, setup, process validation, and production readiness activities
- Train supervisors and production personnel on new processes, procedures, and product changes
- Coordinate TPM and preventive maintenance initiatives to improve equipment reliability
- Support collaborative robotics (cobot) projects, including concept development, programming, integration, and process improvement
- Help expand 3-D printing and additive manufacturing capabilities through rapid prototyping and production tooling applications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a closely related engineering field
- At least one year of process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and achieve objectives with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Highly motivated, results-oriented professional committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Experience with 3-D printing, additive manufacturing, robotics, automation, or related advanced manufacturing technologies is highly desirable
