Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

1st Shift - Part time - Weekly hours will range from 24-30 hours approximately occurring between 10:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

• Cleaning the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls and using cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, carpet cleaning machines, etc.
• Disinfecting commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
• Maintaining cleaning inventory, and notifying management when orders are needed for replacement products.
• Emptying trash and recycling bins.
• Monitoring and filling bathroom supplies.
• Completing minor facilities repairs such as floor tape replacement, wall painting, switching light bulbs, and unclogging toilets.
• Other activities as deemed necessary by management.

Ability to:

• read, write and speak English.
• stand on feet for full shift reaching, bending, stooping and twisting as needed.
• lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• wearing required PPE.
• operating floor scrubber, vacuums, and carpet cleaners
• climbing up and down stairs.
• working around chemicals used for cleaning.

• 1-2 years of cleaning experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
