Facilities Maintenance Technician I

Part‑time – 1st Shift (10:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday‑Friday)

• Cleaning the interior of buildings, including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls, using cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaning machines.
• Disinfecting commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones.
• Maintaining cleaning inventory and notifying management when orders are needed for replacement products.
• Emptying trash and recycling bins.
• Monitoring and filling bathroom supplies.
• Completing minor facility repairs such as floor‑tape replacement, wall painting, switching light bulbs, and unclogging toilets.
• Performing other activities as deemed necessary by management.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to stand on feet for the full shift, reach, bend, stoop, and twist as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Ability to wear required PPE.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
• Ability to climb up and down stairs.
• Comfortable working around chemicals used for cleaning.

• 1–2 years of cleaning experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
