Job Title: Inventory Specialist (IS)
Schedule: Fully onsite, Monday-Friday, 8-5.
Pay: $16/hr (Eligible for a raise to $18-20/hr at the 3-month mark if converted as a permanent employee with client)
Start date: ASAP - as soon as BG check and drug test are done
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Through the use of company provided tools, the Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition within company standards which includes a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle.
Responsibilities- Be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines.
- Document vehicle condition within company standards, including a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle using company-provided tools.
- Work completely outside at the yard and handle incoming cars daily, preparing them for online auction.
- For each arriving car: clean it out (not a full detail but presentable), remove personal items and trash, and vacuum as needed.
- Run the car through a checklist with Copart handheld MI devices, documenting the car’s status, make, model, etc.
- Take specific images of the car to be put online for auction.
