Position: LPN (Sanford, ME)
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at Pro Validus Medical Staffing. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with us, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert healthcare services and improving patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication & Treatment Administration - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility policies.
  • Patient Monitoring & Reporting - Observe residents' conditions, document care accurately, and promptly report changes to the Nursing Supervisor and/or Physician.
  • Shift Handover & Communication - Provide clear and thorough resident status updates to oncoming shifts, supervisors, and nursing staff.
  • Physician Order Execution - Properly transcribe and carry out physician orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Infection Control & Safety - Follow all infection control procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
  • Inventory Management - Assist in monitoring and maintaining supplies, medications, and medical equipment.
  • Quality Improvement - Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care and facility Operations.
  • Resident Care & Comfort - Provide compassionate nursing care that prioritizes both the physical and emotional well-being of residents.
  • Clinical Rounds & Problem-Solving - Conduct routine rounds to observe residents, address concerns, and implement effective solutions.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration - Effectively communicate and coordinate care with other healthcare team members.
  • Customer Service & Resident Rights - Uphold a high standard of service while respecting resident rights and maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • Active LPN License in the state of Maine (required).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A caring and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
