We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at Pro Validus Medical Staffing. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with us, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert healthcare services and improving patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication & Treatment Administration - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility policies.
- Patient Monitoring & Reporting - Observe residents' conditions, document care accurately, and promptly report changes to the Nursing Supervisor and/or Physician.
- Shift Handover & Communication - Provide clear and thorough resident status updates to oncoming shifts, supervisors, and nursing staff.
- Physician Order Execution - Properly transcribe and carry out physician orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Infection Control & Safety - Follow all infection control procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
- Inventory Management - Assist in monitoring and maintaining supplies, medications, and medical equipment.
- Quality Improvement - Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care and facility Operations.
- Resident Care & Comfort - Provide compassionate nursing care that prioritizes both the physical and emotional well-being of residents.
- Clinical Rounds & Problem-Solving - Conduct routine rounds to observe residents, address concerns, and implement effective solutions.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration - Effectively communicate and coordinate care with other healthcare team members.
- Customer Service & Resident Rights - Uphold a high standard of service while respecting resident rights and maintaining confidentiality.
- Active LPN License in the state of Maine (required).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
