The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team. You will be a vital member of our clinical staff, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced environment.

Your Impact
  • Patient Care & Triage – Conduct comprehensive triage, including vital signs, history documentation, and observational examinations to identify immediate needs. Assist with patient exams and support providers during testing and procedures.
  • Clinical Procedures – Perform diagnostic and testing procedures such as vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more. Execute point‑of‑care testing (strep, flu, RSV, SARS‑CoV‑2, glucose, lipid panel, urinalysis). Provide cardiac and airway management (ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, oxygen administration). Deliver wound care, immunizations, and medication administration in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Patient Engagement & Documentation – Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, and explain medication or therapy plans. Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting histories and treatment details. Observe and report changes in patient conditions and take necessary action.
  • Clinic Operations – Ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained per policy. Maintain a stocked and sterile workspace to support smooth operations.
  • Collaboration with Clinical Team – Work closely with other clinicians to coordinate care. Communicate effectively with providers and staff, relay patient information, and welcome and support new team members.
Required Availability
  • Work 12‑hour shifts (8:00 am–8:00 pm) in consecutive and/or non‑consecutive days.
    • Full‑time: three (3) 12‑hour shifts per week, with at least four (4) shifts per month on a Saturday or Sunday.
    • Part‑time: two (2) 12‑hour shifts per week, with at least two (2) shifts per month on a Saturday or Sunday.
    • Per diem: four (4) 12‑hour shifts per month, ideally one (1) shift each week.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work at three (3) other Convenient

    MD locations within a one (1) hour travel distance from your primary clinic.
  • Require travel for training shifts that may occur outside your primary clinic within a one (1) hour commute.
Who You Are
  • Education – High school diploma or GED required.
  • Certification & Experience – State‑licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire only, must be IV certified.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Attributes – Compassionate, authentic, patient‑focused, proactive, confident communicator (written and verbal), trustworthy, effective communicator and cross‑collaborator, excellent team player, technically savvy.
Bonus Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of patient triage experience in urgent care or emergency department preferred.
