YourImpact
- Patient Care & Triage
- Conduct comprehensive triage, take vital signs, document medical history, and perform observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs.
- Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared, and support providers during testing and procedures.
- Clinical Procedures
- Perform diagnostic and testing procedures including vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more.
- Execute point‑of‑care testing such as strep, flu, RSV, SARS‑CoV‑2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis.
- Provide cardiac and airway management, including ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration.
- Deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations.
- Patient Engagement & Documentation
- Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, and explain medication or therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting patient histories and treatment details.
- Observe and report changes in patients' conditions, taking necessary action as needed.
- Clinic Operations
- Ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained per organizational policies.
- Maintain a stocked and sterile workspace, supporting smooth clinic operations.
- Collaboration with Clinical Team
- Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with providers and other healthcare professionals to relay patient information and updates.
- Welcome and support the training of new team clinic members.
- Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts in consecutive or non‑consecutive days:
- Full‑time: 3 twelve‑hour shifts per week with at least four shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
- Part‑time: 2 twelve‑hour shifts per week with at least two shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
- Per diem: 4 twelve‑hour shifts per month, ideally one shift each week.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work at a minimum of three other ConvenientMD locations within a one‑hour travel distance from your primary clinic.
- Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one‑hour commute.
- Education – High school diploma or GED required.
- Certification and Prior Experience – State‑licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire, must be IV certified.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. CPR, ACLS certifications, or online‑only classes are not accepted.
