Impact
  • Patient Care & Triage
    • Conduct comprehensive triage, take vital signs, document medical history, and perform observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs.
    • Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared, and support providers during testing and procedures.
  • Clinical Procedures
    • Perform diagnostic and testing procedures including vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more.
    • Execute point‑of‑care testing such as strep, flu, RSV, SARS‑CoV‑2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis.
    • Provide cardiac and airway management, including ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration.
    • Deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations.
  • Patient Engagement & Documentation
    • Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, and explain medication or therapy plans.
    • Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting patient histories and treatment details.
    • Observe and report changes in patients' conditions, taking necessary action as needed.
  • Clinic Operations
    • Ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained per organizational policies.
    • Maintain a stocked and sterile workspace, supporting smooth clinic operations.
  • Collaboration with Clinical Team
    • Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
    • Communicate effectively and efficiently with providers and other healthcare professionals to relay patient information and updates.
    • Welcome and support the training of new team clinic members.
Required Availability
  • Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts in consecutive or non‑consecutive days:
    • Full‑time: 3 twelve‑hour shifts per week with at least four shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
    • Part‑time: 2 twelve‑hour shifts per week with at least two shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
    • Per diem: 4 twelve‑hour shifts per month, ideally one shift each week.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work at a minimum of three other ConvenientMD locations within a one‑hour travel distance from your primary clinic.
  • Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one‑hour commute.
Who You Are
  • Education – High school diploma or GED required.
  • Certification and Prior Experience – State‑licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire, must be IV certified.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. CPR, ACLS certifications, or online‑only classes are not accepted.
