Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team, representing the T‑Mobile brand and delivering a world‑class customer experience. The role is entry‑level, designed to build sales and service competence with the goal of progressing to a Mobile Expert after successful completion of training.
Job Responsibilities- Help customers resume their shopping journey, whether online, through customer care or in‑store.
- Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology.
- Engage in side‑by‑side selling to uncover personalized solutions beyond basic device and plan options.
- Approach sales and service needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
- Apply digital tools consistently in customer interactions and onboarding.
- Show how T‑Mobile’s coverage performs in customers’ neighborhoods, emphasizing the fast LTE network.
- Explain how T‑Mobile plans and services enable unlimited connectivity and value.
- Complete training on in‑store experience, new skills, processes, systems, and reference resources.
- Maximize time on shift by seeking information between customers and learning about wireless innovations.
- Collaborate with T‑Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience and resolve issues.
- Identify and hand off small business leads.
- Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
High School Diploma or GED (Required).
Work ExperienceSix months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required).
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Passionate customer advocate who enjoys authentic interactions.
- Competitive drive and proven success in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Willingness to collaborate with peers and leaders, sharing ideas and resolving issues.
- Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Hourly Base Pay$19.50 per hour, plus $5.00 per hour training pay.
Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and training pay. Upon completion, promotion to Mobile Expert unlocks eligibility for an annual incentive target of $18,000 per year (actual incentives vary by performance and full‑time status). All eligible employees may also receive a T‑Mobile annual stock grant.
