Job DescriptionWe are seeking skilled and dependable carpenters to join our team. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and metal across a variety of construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials accurately.
- Build and install structures such as framing, walls, floors, roofs, and formwork.
- Install doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, and other finish carpentry elements.
- Construct and dismantle concrete forms and scaffolding as needed.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades on-site.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
- Assist with general construction tasks as needed.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
- Strong math and measurement skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1+ years of carpentry experience (or apprenticeship experience) preferred.

Work EnvironmentThis role involves working outdoors and in unfinished buildings. You must be comfortable working in any weather.
Job Type & LocationThis is a contract to hire position based out of Sanford, ME.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
