Position Overview
Are you coming from restoration or environmental services and ready to take the next step in your career?
We’re seeking a motivated Project Manager / Estimator with a background in restoration (water, fire, mold), asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, or demolition to support commercial projects throughout Central North Carolina.
This is a client-facing, preconstruction-focused role combining estimating, project oversight, and relationship development. Ideal for someone who has worked in restoration and understands scopes, emergency response environments, insurance-driven projects, and transitioning jobs from assessment to execution.
This position is primarily office- and field-visit based — not daily on-site supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Perform site visits to assess damage, hazardous materials, and demolition requirements
- Develop scopes of work and prepare detailed estimates and proposals
- Manage projects from award through closeout, including budgets and change orders
- Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth execution
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, property owners, adjusters, and developers
- Attend networking events and actively support business development
- Track job costs and project profitability
- Serve as a technical resource for clients on abatement and demolition processes
- 3–5+ years of experience in restoration, environmental services, abatement, demolition, or asbestos remediation
- Estimating experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations
- Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable performing site walks and presenting scopes to customers
- Organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic project documentation tools
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
- Salary up to $130,000
