Position Overview

Are you coming from restoration or environmental services and ready to take the next step in your career?

We’re seeking a motivated Project Manager / Estimator with a background in restoration (water, fire, mold), asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, or demolition to support commercial projects throughout Central North Carolina.

This is a client-facing, preconstruction-focused role combining estimating, project oversight, and relationship development. Ideal for someone who has worked in restoration and understands scopes, emergency response environments, insurance-driven projects, and transitioning jobs from assessment to execution.

This position is primarily office- and field-visit based — not daily on-site supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform site visits to assess damage, hazardous materials, and demolition requirements
  • Develop scopes of work and prepare detailed estimates and proposals
  • Manage projects from award through closeout, including budgets and change orders
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, property owners, adjusters, and developers
  • Attend networking events and actively support business development
  • Track job costs and project profitability
  • Serve as a technical resource for clients on abatement and demolition processes
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of experience in restoration, environmental services, abatement, demolition, or asbestos remediation
  • Estimating experience strongly preferred
  • Understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations
  • Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable performing site walks and presenting scopes to customers
  • Organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic project documentation tools
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
  • Salary up to $130,000
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan
  • Growth opportunity in a specialized commercial environmental construction sector
