Distribution & Collections Coordinator- Sanford location
We are looking for a detailed individual who possesses thorough knowledge of the theory, processes, methods, techniques and practices used in the repair, maintenance, rehabilitation and construction of water and wastewater lines, the machines, tools, equipment and materials used in operation, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater systems, the mechanical and hydraulic engineering principles involved in water and wastewater operation;
comprehensive knowledge in preparing correspondence, detailed and complex technical reports, the use of standard office equipment and associated software; ability to make arithmetic computations, perform cost analysis calculations, compute rates, ratios and percentages, establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, engineers, State officials, contractors, vendors, elected officials and the general public.
The position requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, or related field and moderate experience in the maintenance, repair and/or construction of water and wastewater lines. Possession of a valid NC driver’s license upon hire. Possession of NC Grade III Water Pollution Control Collections System Operator, Cross Connection Control System Operator, and “A” Distribution Water Distribution Operator certifications upon hire or must have the ability to obtain.
Must meet and maintain all certification, license and training requirements for position.
