QualificationsProficiency in the ability to organize, schedule and lead public/informational meetings, ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms and make presentations, exercise political acumen, tact and diplomacy, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, officials, developers, and the general public to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction, utilize a computer and relevant software applications for compiling reports, developing presentation material, and storing and retrieving data, research industry trends, solutions and best practices.
Special RequirementsBachelor's degree in planning, public administration, historic preservation, landscape architecture, urban design, geography, real estate development, or a field directly related degree to the assignment, supplemented by one year of experience in urban or regional planning; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
