Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be the frontline for providing exceptional technical support to end-users, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems across the organization. Your expertise will help maintain a productive and efficient work environment by troubleshooting issues promptly and delivering outstanding customer service.

- Provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Assist users with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage help desk tickets using designated support systems, documenting issues clearly and tracking resolution progress.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems related to LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS (Domain Name System), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, and TCP ports.
- Support Active Directory management tasks including user account creation, password resets, GPO (Group Policy Object) implementation, and permissions management.
- Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware components and peripherals, including printers, monitors, keyboards, and other equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze system logs and diagnose complex technical issues related to IT infrastructure.
- Assist in maintaining security protocols by supporting firewall configurations and network access controls to protect organizational data.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and general software troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with help desk systems and customer support ticket management processes.
- Proficiency in computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, and VPN setup.
- Expertise in Windows support (including Windows Server environments), macOS, Linux operating systems, and computer hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Active Directory management, GPO deployment, and user account administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues related to hardware failures or software conflicts effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments.
- Analysis skills for diagnosing complex technical problems quickly and accurately.
