The position includes a wage of $21.70/hour (plus an 8% shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts), a quarterly goal‑sharing program, and a comprehensive benefits package that begins on Day 1.

What This Looks Like- 1st Shift Starting Pay: $21.70/hour
- 2nd & 3rd Shift Starting Pay: $21.70/hour (+ 8% shift premium)
- 1st Shift: Monday‑Friday 6:15 AM – 2:15 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday‑Friday 2:15 PM – 10:15 PM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday night – Friday morning 10:15 PM – 6:15 AM
- Overtime as business needs require.
- Use various tools to perform welding duties, including operating robotic and manual MIG weld machines.
- Inspect your own work, including quality checks with weld and attribute gauges and other measuring tools.
- Perform in‑station repairs on defective welds using carbon arc processes, grinders, etc.
- Clear common robotic welding system faults.
- Mechanical duties may include using lifting devices to move heavy components weighing more than 35 lbs, positioning fabricated metal components in weld fixtures.
- Perform routine maintenance (wire change, tip/nozzle change).
- Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect‑free operations to create and machine components.
- Follow and utilize CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work.
- Be responsible for process and final inspections.
- Must have welding operation experience.
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive operations.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Blueprint reading experience.
- Microsoft Office application experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to function as part of a team and be multi‑trained.
- Ability to be a contributing team member.
- Effective communication skills.
