This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Physical requirements:

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Team member must be willing and able to perform physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems.
• Team member will be exposed to warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees, wet and humid conditions, slippery floors in certain areas, and concrete floors.
• Team member will be exposed to airborne particles and noise levels that require hearing protection.

Internal requirements at the time of application:

• Must have been in their current position 90 days to demote or transfer to another shift or line.
• Must have been in their current position 90 days to promote.
• No more than four (4) attendance points at the time of job posting, in the last six (6) months.
• No written warning at the time of job posting within the last six (6) months.
• No suspensions at the time of job posting within the last six (6) months.

Note:

Location will assign the position if there are not successful bidders.
