Injection Molding Process Tech 2nd – Sanford, NC

We have an opportunity for an Injection Molding Process Tech 2nd to join our Sanford, NC team. You will be setting up and preparing your machine for each production run and monitoring production to ensure quality during the process.

• Ensure presses are started and running to standard process and troubleshoot those not up to standard.
• Troubleshoot molding machines to bring parts into specifications for size, appearance, flash, splay, cycle time, etc. Prior knowledge and use of hand tools and gauges.
• Process a variety of engineering type materials, including but not limited to: PVC, ABS, PC, PP, Noryl, flame retardant ABS, and Flame‑retardant PC Valox.
• Prepare maintenance work orders and ensure compliance with preventive maintenance programs.
• Perform all duties associated with changing injection molds (material set up, mold change, set process to black book, inspect parts for quality adherence).
• Document improvements and problems with molds, presses, secondary machines, etc.

Second shift: 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm, Monday through Friday (plus overtime and weekends if needed).

Staying, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50 lbs. Steel‑toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Full‑time position; anticipated hourly starting pay will be $29.00 per hour plus 8% of shift premium. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience, training, education, location, and other relevant factors.
