Machine Operator- 3rd Shift- Sanford, N.C

Job Details:

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

The pay for this position starts at $17.50/hr. with a $1.00 shift differential for 3rd Shift.

Hours:

3rd Shift- 11:00pm-7:00am

The primary responsibility of this position is to operate the machines in the Corn / Flour department. This involves closely monitoring, making necessary adjustments, and promptly reporting any issues to the supervisor or lead. Additionally, this role requires maintaining various log sheets. All team members are responsible for safety. Documenting and calculating results accurately. Taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process;

identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product). Reporting results to management. Any additional assignments requested.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Team Member must be willing and able to perform physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems. Team Member will be exposed to warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees, wet and humid conditions, slippery floors in certain areas, and concrete floors.

Team Member will be exposed to airborne particles and noise levels that require hearing protection.
