The Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting business in the manufacturing, assembly, fabricating & handling of parts sold by the company.
- Assemble and fabricate remanufactured parts including but not limited to:
- Rotate through all tasks required in production processes.
- Responsible for paperwork to ensure company data matches with actual.
- Operate machinery for manufacturing and assembly parts
- Support machinist staff.
- Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
- Debur, hand polish, clean, tap, etc. parts that are in process or finished.
- Create/assemble subcomponents of larger part assemblies.
- Keep shop areas clean & organized including but not limited to trash, scrap metal, tooling, etc.
- Support overall day-to-day business operations.
- Prepare parts for shipments to customer: cleaning, assembling, packaging
- High School Diploma required.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
- Associate degree or Industrial Skills Training/Certificate preferred.
- Ability to make precise coordinated movements of fingers of both hands to disassemble/assemble small objects.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal direction.
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
- Ability to work without direction and retain prior instruction.
- Able to work continuously on feet
- Able to lift, carry, and maneuver a maximum of 60 lbs
- Must possess a safety-oriented work ethic.
