Assembly Tech - Air Cleaning Units

OVERVIEW

Seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
Assembly Technician to join a manufacturing team producing air cleaning units. This position is responsible for assembling motors, wiring, and sheet metal components while meeting quality and production standards. A key focus of this role is the ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure proper assembly and functionality of finished products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble air cleaning units, components, and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and assembly instructions.
• Install motors, wiring, and sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  
  Follow established safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Rotate between production areas and assist with various manufacturing tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills required.
• Ability to follow written instructions and production documentation.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attendance and dependability.
