Schedule:

Full-time, Monday – Friday, 6:45AM – 3:15PM, with a minimum of six on‑call shifts per month, including one full weekend (Friday – Sunday).

Central Carolina Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health. The role is for a Registered Nurse on the Surgery/Operating Room team. The team provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a rural community, with six main operating rooms and one dedicated OB surgical suite. Surgical services include general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, and other specialties.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  • Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
  • Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
Qualifications
  • Current North Carolina state or compact state RN license.
  • Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
  • One year of RN experience in an Operating Room setting.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
