Registered Nurse – Outpatient Services
Central Carolina Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is a 137‑bed acute care facility serving the Lee County community for over 115 years. This role enables you to provide exceptional, patient‑centered care in outpatient services, contributing to community health.
How You'll Contribute- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Perform focused patient assessments and reassessments, including pain management.
- Administer medications safely and accurately following best practices.
- Assist physicians with procedures and perform treatments within scope of practice.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes and care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and proper use of equipment.
- Current North Carolina or compact state RN license.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
- One year of healthcare experience required.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to work on‑call as needed.
